Do you offer packages for special occasions?

Yes, we offer packages including bachelorette parties, corporate and team building packages, customized private tours, birthday packages, or any other special occasion you may have. Please call us so we can create a package that best suits your needs.

Do you offer group packages?

Yes, not only do we offer group outing packages, but we also give a 10% discount for each person for groups of 8 or more!

What’s your payment policy?

Full payment is due at the time of reservation. For group tours of more than 8 people, a non-refundable $500 deposit is due at the time of reservation. Final payment is due 2 weeks prior to your tour date. You can make your reservations online or over the phone using any major credit card.

What is your refund policy?

There are no refunds once your reservation is made. If you do need to cancel, there is a $25/person date change fee if you call before your scheduled tour date. Promotional tickets are also non-refundable.

Do I need to make a reservation?

Yes, reservations are required. Even if you have a gift certificate or voucher, you still must book your tour through our online reservations system. We do not accept walk-ons.

What if I have a gift certificate or voucher?

You will book your tour similar to a new reservation, however you will enter your voucher code in the “Apply Coupon” field. For Gift Certificates and Charitable Donations, this is the # listed on your e-mail gift card. For Groupon purchases, it’s the 4-Digit – 2-Letter or a 11 digit code with 2 dashes towards the end, found in the upper right of your printed Groupon voucher. For Living Social purchases, it’s the 13 digit # on your voucher which typically begins with “1000”. If you are reserving more spots than your voucher is valid for, you will be prompted to pay the balance before all of your reservations can be finalized. Please note gift certificates are non-refundable.

Can anyone participate in the tour?

As long as you are at least 21 years of age and are able to ride a bicycle, you may take part in the tour. You should be able to ride a bicycle at a leisurely pace for up to 5-8 miles at a time.

Preparing For Your Tour

What if it rains?

We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to inclement weather, however we will not cancel for light rain or passing showers. Tours will be altered to accommodate the comfort and safety of our guests. We post tour cancellations on the top of our Home page at 7:30am the morning of the tour to get the most update weather forecasts.

What happens if my tour gets cancelled?

If your tour gets cancelled for any reason, you can re-schedule the tour for any other open date for that season. You will use your existing confirmation or voucher number and input this in the “Redemption Code” field on the Reservation form.

When should I arrive?

We ask guests to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled 10:00am departure time to allow for proper check-in. Please plan accordingly as summer traffic varies week to week.

What if I’m running late?

We understand that summer traffic may occur. Please contact us if you are running late. A tour guide will wait no longer than 15 minutes after the scheduled departure time. Those who arrive after this time will miss the tour. No refunds will be given for missed tours.

How difficult of a bike ride is each of your locations?

Our North Fork & Hamptons locations are both 13 miles in distance and have a few small hills. Both are ridden along designated New York State Bicycle Routes on single lane roads with vehicular traffic. Our Ringoes tour is 11 miles in distance in a rural setting with one challenging hill in each direction. Our New Egypt ride is 15 miles along tree-lined horse farms, with a series of moderately challenging hills in each direction. All of our paths are meant for the average bicycle rider and are broken up throughout the course of the day. Our tours are traveled along well-paved roads at a leisurely pace.

What should I wear?

We suggest comfortable clothing, such as shorts, a t-shirt, socks, and sneakers. Open toe shoes and sandals are not recommended.

Do you provide bicycles? Can I bring my own bicycle?

Yes, we provide everyone with top of the line comfort hybrid bicycles each equipped with a storage basket, helmet, water bottles, and water. You may bring your own bicycle and equipment, however our staff is not responsible for maintenance of your property.

What if I don’t know how to ride a bike?

Unfortunately, this tour is only for those who have the ability to ride a bicycle through rolling hills. If you cannot or are unable to, we are glad to refer you to some of the other local bus and limousine tours.

About Your Tour

Do I need to sign any waiver forms?

Yes, you cannot join our tour until you sign our waiver forms!

What’s to eat and drink?

Aside from all of the wine, we provide a classic vineyard picnic lunch. We also provide water and snacks along the ride so you stay hydrated and energized throughout the day. Typically the wineries also offer a variety of snacks to enjoy with your tasting.

What wineries do we visit?

We have partnered with some of the best wineries in the region. Our New Egypt tours visit Laurita Winery & Creamridge Winery. In Ringoes, we stop at Unionville Vineyards & Old York Cellars. In the Hamptons, we venture through Duck Walk Vineyards and Wolffer Estate Vineyards. And for our North Fork location it varies throughout the year, but our favorites include Raphael, Pelligrini’s Vineyards, Pugliese Vineyards, and Lenz Winery.

How long is the tour?

The bike tour is 10-16 miles depending on the location, traveled at a leisurely pace on mostly paved and relatively flat terrain. The tour departs at the scheduled time at 10:00am and lasts between 4 1/2 – 5 hours.

What if there is something I want to buy along the way?

All of our bicycles have baskets, which can fit a few bottles of wine from your favorite vineyard. Our tour guides will be more than happy to fit any additional purchases you have if they have room in their baskets or in our support vehicle. We recommend that if you purchase wine or any other fragile item, to have it packaged if you are going to put it in your basket. We are not responsible for any damaged or lost items!

What if I taste too much wine?

We do not recommend drinking wine during our tour. We always suggest our clients to “See-Swirl-Sniff-Sip-Spit-and-Savor.” If you do happen to drink too much wine, please let one of our guides know. We always have a support vehicle close by, however you will not be able to partake in any of the remaining tour and will be at your own expense!

What if get a flat tire?

Don’t worry! One of our experienced tour guides will be able to assist with any bicycle or equipment problems you may experience. Our guides come equipped with replacement kits just in case. We do not charge you for accidental equipment issues.

Should I tip my guides?

We are known for high quality customer service. Our guides always go the extra mile to ensure you have a memorable day, ensuring you are safe and satisfied throughout the day. Gratuity is not included in the price of the tour, and our guides greatly appreciate tips at the end as long as you are pleased with their service.
